Applications Available for Capitol Hill Internships

Delegate to Congress Donna Christensen is pleased to announce that the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute programs on Capitol Hill are now accepting applications for their Spring Internship programs.

The deadline for applying to the, Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) is November 1, 2009 for the CBCF Emerging Leaders Internship Program. This program will be held from January 11 through May 7, 2010. The goal of this program is to create a corps of trained young leaders with the skills, outlook and contacts necessary to produce positive change in Washington, D.C. as well as their local communities. Interns will work four days of the week on Capitol Hill and one day in educational seminars that focus on both domestic and international issues. The deadline for applying for the spring semester program of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s (CHCI) is November 13, 2009. The CHCI internship program is designed to provide college students with Capitol Hill work experience. To apply and review criteria required for this program visit www.chci.org .
